CPU Board (1) Board Retainer (2) Screw
Remove the screw (2) that is securing the board retainer (1) .
Hold the board at each end. Rock the board back and forth. Rock the board until the edge connectors loosen.Note: When you remove the CPU board, carefully remove all connecting wiring. Make notes of the location of all the connectors in order to ensure that you can properly reconnect the wiring. Be careful not to damage the dimming switch at the top of the card.
Store the board in an anti-static wrapper.
Remove any unused cable that is associated with the board.
Install a slot cover over the open slot.
