Low idle indicator (8) Except for the action alarm, the gauges and indicators are located on monitor panel (18). The action alarm is located in the console. Description Of Gauges And Indicators
Power On Test
To ensure proper operation of the monitoring system, the action alarm and indicators are tested whenever the monitor is powered up. When starter switch (14) is turned to the ON position, all of the indicators on monitor panel (18) will turn ON for approximately 2.5 seconds, and the action alarm will sound for approximately 2.5 seconds. Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge
The engine coolant temperature gauge (6) receives input signal from engine coolant temperature sensor (10). This will indicate engine coolant temperature. When the engine coolant temperature reaches 106 °C (222.8 °F) the red range will illuminate. Fuel Level Gauge
Fuel level gauge (1) receives the input signal from fuel level sensor ( 9). This signal will indicate the amount of fuel in the fuel tank. Hydraulic Oil Temperature Gauge
Hydraulic oil temperature gauge (5) receives input signal from hydraulic oil temperature sensor (11). This will indicate hydraulic oil temperature. When hydraulic oil temperature reaches 98 °C (208.4 °F) the red range will illuminate. Engine Oil Pressure Alarm Indicator
Engine oil pressure alarm indicator (8) receives input signal from engine oil pressure switch (13). When the engine oil pressure decreases, the engine oil pressure alarm indicator (8) will illuminate and the action alarm will sound.Engine Coolant Temperature Alarm Indicator
Engine coolant temperature alarm indicator (4) receives input signal from engine coolant temperature switch (12). When engine coolant temperature reaches 106 °C (222.8 °F) the engine coolant temperature alarm indicator (4) will be illuminated. Charge Alarm Indicator
Charge alarm indicator (3) is used to monitor the charging frequency of alternator (15). When the system voltage decreases, charge alarm indicator (3) will illuminate. Low Idle Indicator
When low idle switch (17) is depressed to activate the low idle system, low idle indicator (7) will be illuminated. Glow Indicator
While starter switch (14) is at the preheat position, glow indicator (2) is illuminated.
