Disregard the previous article, serial numbers have been added.Description of Change: The new rocker arms have rolled threads at the adjustment screw. The rolled threads provide an increase service life.Adaptable To: The new 458-2975 Rocker Arm As replace the existing 452-1005 Rocker Arm As. The new 458-2975 Rocker Arm As is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.Note: Caterpillar recommends changing all six fuel injector rocker arms when making a repair.This change is effective on engine serial numbers built on or after 1December 2014.
