Water Pump (Industrial Engine)
Start By:a. remove oil cooler1. Drain the coolant from the engine into a suitable container for storage or disposal.2. Disconnect upper and lower radiator hose. 3. Remove the bolt and washer that holds bracket (3) to the cylinder block.4. Remove bolt and washer (6), loosen clamp (1) and move fumes disposal tube (5) away from the water regulator housing.5. Remove the bolts that hold cover (4) to the water pump, and remove the cover and elbow (2) as an assembly.6. Remove the O-ring seal from the rear of the water pump. 7. Remove twelve bolts (8) and remove water pump (7).8. Remove the O-ring seal from the front of the water pump.Install Water Pump (Industrial Engine)
1. Inspect the seals for wear or damage, and replace if needed. Put clean engine oil on the seals.2. Put the O-ring seal in position on the front of the water pump. 3. Put water pump (1) in position on the timing gear plate, and install the bolts and nuts that hold it. Make sure that the water pump gear and the gear in the front cover are in alignment. 4. Put cover (3) and elbow (2) in position on the water pump as an assembly, and install the bolts that hold the cover to the water pump.5. Install the bolts that hold elbow (2) to the water regulator housing. 6. Install bracket (5) and clamp (6). Tighten hose clamp (4).7. Connect the upper and lower radiator hoses.8.
