Introduction
Backhoe Loaders have the ability to accommodate different styles of Backhoe hydraulic control groups. These control groups may be customized by using the appropriate kit at any time during the life of the machine. The proper configuration of controls adds to operator productivity, and comfort. This instruction details the parts included in the 151-2595 Kit Controls, Four Lever Ford Style, the installation process, and proper adjustment procedures to satisfy operators who prefer this style of controls.Consult the "Safety" section of your machine's Operation and Maintenance manual before beginning this procedure. Before operating the new controls, read and understand the "Operation Section", "Machine Controls, Attachments" of the Operations and Maintenance manual.

1. Remove knobs from controls.2. Remove 9R-9901 Fasteners from cover plates.3. Remove cover plates and boots from rear console. Two 117-5672 Boots must be reused from the existing control group during the installation process. Four 117-5672 Boots are provided in this kit.4. Remove rear console.5. Remove instruction plate from rear console.6. Where instruction plate was removed, install 128-6152 Instruction Film (10) which is included in the kit.7. Remove the standard controls and linkage.Installation Procedure
1. Install the lever assembly using four of each of the following: 8T-4136 Bolts (2) and 8T-4121 Washers (3). Tighten the 8T-4136 bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).2. Adjust the length of all control rods so the straight portion of each control lever is vertical and perpendicular to the floor plates. Chart 2, Preset Lengths of Control Valve Linkage, are reference lengths. The linkage may need to be adjusted during installation. After installation and testing is completed, tighten the nuts on both rod ends to a torque of 20 5 N m (14.7 3.7 lb ft).3. Ensuring the valve remains in the centered position, install the 9R-2806 Pins and 9R-2807 Clips to attach control linkage to valve assembly. To adjust the linkage using the following steps: A. Remove pin (12) from yoke (B).B. Move linkage away from valve.C. Loosen nut (A) then turn yoke (B) to adjust.4. Test installed kit. Make adjustments as needed.5. Install rear console.
