1. Align the centerline of holes (7) and (15) in pivot assemblies (18) and (17) 82 1 mm (3.23 .040 in) from mounting surface (8).2. Adjust the length of control rod (12) so that shaft (14) is parallel with mounting surface (8).3. Adjust rod end (11) so that shaft (14) is parallel with surface (16).4. Adjust the length of control rod (2) so that lever arm (13) on lever (10) is parallel to surface (8).5. Thread rod (5) into lever (10) until top (1) of rod (5) (without the knob) is 680 5 mm (26.77 .20 in) from mounting surface (8) and designated length (6) is perpendicular to mounting surface in the front view.6. The knob assembly and rod (5) should clear the console, seat and arm rest following the adjustment procedure. If the clearance is insufficient, adjust the forward-rearward location by changing the length of rod (2). Adjust the inboard-outboard location by changing the length of rod (12). If readjustment is required, make sure holes (7) and (15) remain in their proper location.
