Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

If dowel (9) was removed, install the dowel. Extend the dowel for 8.0 1.0 mm (0.31 0.04 inch) toward the gear.
Coat O-ring seal (8) with clean engine oil. Install the O-ring seal on engine oil pump (5) .
Install Tooling (B) into the front housing.

Attach a suitable lifting device to engine oil pump (5). The weight of engine oil pump (5) is approximately 105 kg (231 lb).
Coat new O-ring seals (7) with clean engine oil. Install the O-ring seals in the front housing.
Align the gear of engine oil pump (5) with the gear in the front housing. Position engine oil pump (5) onto Tooling (B) .
Install a new O-ring seal for the joint that is between the engine oil pump and the tee.

Install bolts (6) that attach engine oil pump (5) to the front housing.
Install bolts (4) and the washers that connect engine oil pump (5) to tee (3) .

Install new O-ring seals for each side of flange (1) .
Install flange (1) .
Place spacer (2) into position. Install the bolts that attach flange (1) and spacer (2) to the engine oil pump.
