Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
1. Remove five bolts (1) and the washers that hold heat shield (2) to the rear frame of the machine. 2. Remove two bolts (3) and the washers from heat shield (4). 3. Remove two bolts (5) and the washers. Remove heat shield (4) from the machine.4. Remove heat shield (2) from the machine. 5. Remove two bolts (6) and the washers from heat shield (7). 6. Remove two bolts (8) and the washers from heat shield (9). Remove heat shields (7) and (9). 7. Remove four bolts (10) and the washers from heat shields (11) and (12). Remove heat shields (11) and (12).Installation Procedure
1. Put heat shields (11) and (12) in position, as shown. Install four bolts (10) and the washers. 2. Put heat shield (7) in position, as shown. Install two bolts (6) and the washers. 3. Put heat shield (9) in position, as shown. Install two bolts (8) and the washers. 4. Put heat shield (4) in position, as shown. 5. Put heat shield (2) in position, as shown. Install five bolts (1) and the washers. 6. Install two bolts (5) and the washers that hold heat shield (4) to heat shield (2). 7. Install two bolts (3) and the washers that hold heat shield (4) to heat shield (2).End By:a. Remove the steering frame lock pin. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock Pin - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
