Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the oscillating axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove".

Place the oscillating axle on suitable blocking, as shown.
Remove yoke (1) from the differential pinion shaft.

Install a suitable lifting device to front trunnion support (2) . Remove the front trunnion support from the oscillating axle. The weight of front trunnion support (2) is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).

Remove lip seal (3) from the front trunnion support. Repeat this step for the lip seal on the opposite side of the front trunnion support.
Remove retaining ring (4) that holds sleeve bearing (5) in the front trunnion support.
Use a suitable press to remove sleeve bearing (5) from the front trunnion support.
