The 8T-0531 Duo-Cone Seal Installer As is now manufactured from a urethane based material. The new material provides improved performance and longer service life than the former phenolic installer. The 8T-0531 Duo-Cone Seal Installer As fits duo-cone seal groups used in the above machines.The urethane material resists chipping and warping better than the phenolic material. The improved seal installers maintain the roundness better than the former phenolic installers. Retained roundness allows easier insertion of the duo-cone seal group into the tool. The urethane based material provides better flexibility that allows the installer to conform to the metal seal ring.
