The filters in the 264-3509 Pilot and Pump Drive Filter and Mounting Group and the 244-7315 Case Drain Lines Group (Implement Pump) may loosen due to vibration.Solution
Secure the filters to each other with a combination of two large hose clamps and one of the u-shaped brackets. This will eliminate relative movement between the filters and this will prevent loosening of the filters. The short leg of the bracket fits between the filter and the clamp. Each bracket spans two filters. Use one bracket (2) for each pair of filters in the 244-7315 Case Drain Lines Group (Implement Pump). Use one 8T-4986 Hose Clamp or one 230-3671 Clamp on each filter in the 244-7315 Case Drain Lines Group (Implement Pump) .Use one bracket (1) in order to secure the two filters in the 264-3509 Pilot and Pump Drive Filter and Mounting Group . Use either an 8T-4985 Hose Clamp or a 254-5633 Clamp on the filter with the smaller diameter. Use either an 8T-4986 Hose Clamp or a 230-3671 Clamp on the filter with the larger diameter.The hose clamps can be ordered through the parts system. The brackets should be fabricated or the brackets should be procured by the dealer. The dimensions for each of the brackets are shown in Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
