(5) Supply lines (feed) to bearingsPriming supply lines (feed) (6) and supply lines (1) will purge the air out of the lubrication system. Failure to properly prime the supply lines (tank to injectors) will cause the system to malfunction. Failure to prime the supply lines (feed) will result in the injection of air into the bearings which can lead to bearing failure.Priming instructions
Priming the supply lines
Remove plug (5) from the manifold of the injector bank that is closest to the lubricant pump.
Start the lubrication cycle.
When the lubricant begins to flow from the manifold, stop the pump and replace plug (5).
Repeat step 1.a through step 1.c by moving from the closest injector bank to the farthest injector bank for the remaining injector banks and the pressure sensor. To prevent air pockets, purge the air from the closest point to the farthest point from the pressure source.
Prime the supply lines (feed).
Remove cap (4) from the body of the injector.
Connect grease gun to fitting (3).
Pump the lubricant through fitting (3) until lubricant appears at the end point of the supply line (feed).
Disconnect the grease gun.
Replace the cap.
Repeat Step 2.a through Step 2.e for all the injector banks.Setting the Pump Manifold Pressure and Flow Controls
