Removal Procedure
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Open door assembly (1) .
Loosen hose clamp (3) and loosen clamp (4) in order to remove ejector assembly (2) from the machine.
Loosen clamp assembly (6) and loosen clamp (7) in order to remove tube assembly (8) .
Loosen clamp (10), if necessary.
Remove bolts (9) and the washers in order to carefully remove muffler assembly (5) from the machine.Installation Procedure

Carefully position muffler assembly (5) to the machine.
Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (9) and the washers. Install bolts (9) and the washers.Note: Do not tighten bolts (9) until muffler assembly (5) is properly aligned with the turbocharger.
Apply Tooling (A) to the outside diameter of the outlet of the turbocharger and the outside diameter of the pipe extending from muffler assembly (5). Note: Remove all excess Tooling (A) before Step 5.
Position tube assembly (8), clamp (7) and clamp assembly (6) .Note: Apply Tooling (A) to the inside diameter of clamp (10) if clamp (10) was removed during the removal procedure.Note: The gap in clamp assembly (6) must be placed between the slots in the pipe of muffler assembly (5). The gap in clamp (7) must be placed between the slots in the turbocharger.
Tighten clamp (7) .
Tighten clamp assembly (6) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Tighten muffler clamp (10) to a torque of 68 12 N m (50 9 lb ft), if necessary.Note: The gap in muffler clamp (10) must be placed between the slots in tube assembly (8) .
Tighten bolts (9) .
Position ejector assembly (2) .
Position clamp assembly (4) and tighten clamp assembly (4) to a torque of 48 4 N m (35 3 lb ft).Note: The gap in clamp (4) must be placed between the slots on ejector assembly (2) .
Position hose clamp (3) and tighten hose clamp (3) to a torque of 7.5 1.0 N m (66.0 9.0 lb in).
Close door (1) .
