1. Position the bucket as shown.2. Remove the cotter pins and the washers securing pins (1) and (2). Remove the two pins.3. Raise the boom until the stick and the link are free of the bucket. Weight of the backhoe bucket shown is 227 kg (500 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the backhoe bucket.4. Clean the pins and the pin bores. Put 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease on the pin bores.5. Position the bucket under the stick. Lower the boom until the bore in the stick is in alignment with the bore in the bucket. Install pin (2).6. Extend the bucket cylinder until the bore in the link is in alignment with the bore in the bucket. Install pin (1).7. Install the washers and the cotter pins to secure pins (1) and (2).
