Adjust rod (5) until dimension (B) is 59 2 mm (2.3 .08 in).2. Adjust rod (6) until dimension (C) is 57 2 mm (2.2 .08 in).3. After the platform is installed, attach lever (2) to lever assembly (4).4. Rotate lever (2) until face (E) on lever (2) is 79.5 2.0° from face (D) on lever (4). Torque control lever locknut (3) to 80 15 N m (60 10 lb ft).5. When steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 are completed, dimension (A) should be 96.5 5 mm (3.80 .2 in). The knob assembly and rod (2) should clear the console, seat and armrest following the adjustment procedure. If the clearance is insufficient, or if dimension (A) is not within specification, loosen locknut (3) and rotate lever (2) to achieve it.6. After adjustments are made, tighten locknut (3) to 80 15 N m (60 10 lb ft).9R-7660

1. Preassemble control rod (5) to a length of 196 1 mm (7.7 .04 in). Torque locknut (8) to 20 5 N m (15 4 lb ft)2. Assemble lever (1) and rotate until dimension (A) is 15 5 mm (.59 .2 in). Tighten locknuts (3).3. Adjust the length of control rod (5) so that the centerline of lever (1) is parallel with the centerline of lever (2).
