Information:


Install connector (B) to the 453-8842 Controller "RC2-2/20".
Turn ON the battery disconnect.
Turn the key back to the On position.
Enable the "gen-on" feature.
If required, proceed to verify the application file version and download the configuration to save and use later.Note: The procedure is the same as done on the 453-8834 "RC4-4/20".Flashing The Application File To The ECM 453-8842 "RC2-2/20"
Download the latest software version from the download section on "SIS Web -> Service Software File -> Flash Files".
Turn the key OFF to power down the system.

Turn the switch to the On position on the 509-7110 Cable As Flash.

In the Bodas interface, select "Flash Tool" and then "Serial Protocol" from the left side, just below "Available ECUs".

On the right side of the screen, select the same COM port, previously set for the communication with ECU from the "Interfaces Menu". Select the port from the drop-down menu, located within the "communication".

On the left side of the screen, select the software from the "Path Button", under the "Configuration Flashing" box.Note: Select the proper flash file

Once the file has been selected, push the "Start" button to begin the procedure.

Once the procedure begins, a progress bar will start at the bottom of the screen. When the status bar starts to count down, turn the key On and immediately enable the gen-on, allowing communication between the laptop and the ECM.Note: If the procedure was successfully done, a progress bar will appear, showing the completion percentage.

Once the flashing is complete, verify the software version, by scanning for controllers again.Note: Before beginning to scan for controllers, it is necessary to turn the switch Off on 509-7110 Cable As Flash.Uploading A Saved Configuration
Use the dashboard side port to connect the tractor ECMs to the laptop.Note: The display should show ECM RC4-4/20Note: Use 436-3873 Cable As and 370-8059 Adapter Kit if requested.Note: Make sure the switch on the 509-7110 Cable As Flash is in the OFF position.
Energize the machine, by turning the key to the On position.
Enable the gen-on feature.

From the "Diagnosis" menu on the left side of the screen, select the proper ECU from the menu on the left-hand side.

Select the "PC -> controller" from the menu "File Functions" located to the top right side of the screen. Then confirm, by selecting "Yes".

When the window reporting the path is open, search for the configuration file’s location, previously saved and select it.Note: The file extension is ".epr".
The configuration previously saved is now uploaded to the new software application file.
Proceed to close the Bodas software.
Turn the key to the OFF position.
Switch the battery disconnect OFF.
Restore the original connections between the two ECMs.
Reinstall the dashboard.
