Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

Remove bolts (1) and cap (2). Remove any shims that may be present.

Attach a suitable lifting device to lift cylinder (3). The weight of lift cylinder (3) is approximately 120 kg (265 lb).
Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (6). Remove bolts (5) and caps (7). Remove lift cylinder (3) .Disassembly and Assembly Information

(1) Lubricate the seals with the lubricant that is being sealed. (2) Apply sealant to the groove of wiper seal prior to assembly. (3) Torque for the bolt 1695 170 N m (1250 125 lb ft)The torque for crown (4) should be between 475 N m (350 lb ft) and 745 N m (550 lb ft).Installation Procedure
