Coat the side of the diaphragm that is in contact with the gas with Tooling (A). Coat the other side of the diaphragm with hydraulic oil.

Install diaphragm (6) in the base of the accumulator (5).
Place the cover of the accumulator (7) on the base of the accumulator (5).
Align the bolt holes in the cover of the accumulator (7) with the bolt holes in the base of the accumulator (5).
Assemble the two halves of the accumulator.

Place the accumulator on the accumulator's top side.
Install four bolts (3) for the accumulator.
Tighten the bolts to the proper torque. Refer to Table 2 for the proper torque value.

Install O-ring (4) on the base of the accumulator (5).

Install a new seal (2) on purge screw (1).
Place the accumulator on the accumulator's bottom side.

Install purge screw (1) but do not tighten purge screw.End By:
Charge the accumulator. Refer to the Service Manual, RENR4405, "Hydraulic Accumulator - Test and Charge".
Install the low-pressure accumulator onto the control valve. Refer to the Service Manual, "Hydraulic Accumulator (Low Pressure) - Install".
