Step 3. Loosen and remove the bolt, with the spacer and the P-Clips from the threaded hole. The bottom P-Clip (item 37) can be removed. Remove the P-clip from the bolt and hose and put it back on the hose but rotated 180? so the P points down. Remove the spacer and proceed to step 4.

Step 4. Place the P-clip (from step 3) and then the spacer back on the bolt as shown below and set this assembly on the threaded hole that it will go back into and continue to step 5.

Step 5. Loosen the fitting (shown below) on the right side of the engine, connecting the tube assembly 235-4754, to the T fitting mounted on the bracket in the middle of the engine, and remove the tube assembly.

Step 6. Install, but do not tighten, the 45? fitting of the new hose assembly, 291-6076, to the fitting on the head where the tube assembly was removed earlier (ensure this end is aligned so the hose is pointed up and toward the middle of the engine). Install, but do not tighten, the straight fitting of the new hose assembly, 291-6076, to the T fitting mounted on the bracket in the middle of the engine.

Step 7. Place the P-clip, 6D-4246, on the hose assembly installed in step 6 as shown below. Place the bolt through the P-clip and install the bolt into the threaded hole.

Step 8. Torque the fittings and fasteners in the order specified below to the torque shown.

Step 9. Loosen the fitting, shown below, on the left side of the engine, connecting the tube assembly 235-4754, to the head, and allow fuel to drain from the tube assembly into an appropriate container.

Step 10. Loosen and remove the bolt and P-Clip shown below.

Step 11. Loosen the fitting (shown below) on the left side of the engine, connecting the tube assembly 235-4754, to the T fitting mounted on the bracket in the middle of the engine, and remove the tube assembly.

Step 12. Install, but do not tighten, the 45? fitting of the new hose assembly, 291-6076, to the fitting on the head where the tube assembly was removed earlier (ensure this end is aligned so the hose is pointed up and toward the middle of the engine). Install, but do not tighten, the straight fitting of the new hose assembly, 291-6076, to the T fitting mounted on the bracket in the middle of the engine.

Step 13. Place the P-clip, 6D-4246, on the hose assembly installed in step 12 so the P points down as shown below. Place the bolt through the P-clip and reinstall.

Step 14. Torque the fittings and fasteners in the order specified below to the torque shown.
