All the high-pressure fuel pumps have been built with robustness and quality improvements, including an improved inlet check valve (ICV), since July 2015.Adaptable To: The new high-pressure fuel pumps replace the current high-pressure fuel pumps.The current high-pressure fuel pumps starting with the serial numbers in Table 1 have the improvements.

387-3284 3DP0936 The new high-pressure fuel pumps are adaptable to the above machine engines back to first production.The new part number high-pressure fuel pumps listed in Table 2 are equivalent to the current part number pumps, but are being released to make identifying pumps built with the improvements easier. Each new part number will become available at different times, as the stock of the current pumps are depleted, and stock of the new pumps is received.Future dated orders and committed planned repair orders (CPROs) should be placed against the new part numbers starting on 01 October 2016, and all other types of orders should be placed against the current pumps. Once the current pumps are depleted, the orders will be filled with the new part numbers.The new and current high-pressure fuel pumps are listed in Table 2.
