In this demonstration, the operator has activated the machine's auxiliary control valve (4). The left side of the valve is active. Oil flows through the machine's auxiliary control valve to control valve (6). High pressure oil is felt at the relief valves (8) inside the control valve. When the oil pressure is below 14000 1000 kPa (2031 145 psi), the crossover relief valves remain closed. Simultaneously, oil flows into gerotor motors (9). The oil causes the motors to rotate. The rotation of the motors causes the work tool to rotate. Oil that is leaving the motors returns to the hydraulic tank on the host machine through the auxiliary control valve.Rotate Circuit (Activated Control Valve)

In this demonstration, the operator has activated the machine's auxiliary control valve. The left side of the valve is active. Oil flows through the auxiliary control valve to the crossover relief valve (6). High pressure oil is felt at the relief valves (8) inside the crossover relief valve. When the pressure at the crossover relief valve exceeds 14000 1000 kPa (2031 145 psi), the relief valves will open. The oil flows through the open relief valve to the auxiliary control valve and back to the hydraulic tank. Simultaneously, oil flows to each gerotor motor (9). The gerotor motors will not operate when a relief valve opens.The crossover relief valve will protect the motors and the shear from damage when an outside force causes the shear to rotate.
