Stop the engine.
Use Step 2.a and Step 2.b in order to release the pressure that is in the service brake accumulator charging system.
Engage the parking brake.
Remove the pressure from the brake system by pumping the service brake pedal at a rate of one second ON and one second OFF. Continue to pump the brakes until a minimum of 110 applications have been completed.Note: Do not assume that the pressure has been removed from the service brake accumulator circuit if the brake pedal has no resistance.
Connect two 25000 kPa (3600 psi) pressure gauges to pressure taps (1) .
Observe the pressure gauges. Before you start the engine, the oil pressure must be 0 kPa (0 psi).
Start the engine and place the engine speed at the
