Procedure to Check the STIC Lockout Control Limit Switch
Personal injury or death can result from machine movement.Place blocks in front of and behind the wheels to make sure the machine does not move while the parking brakes are disengaged.
Note: Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine or in the operator's sight.
Move the machine to a smooth, level location that is away from operating machines and personnel.
Engage the parking brake.
Install the steering frame lock.
Place blocks behind the wheels and in front of the wheels.

(1) Steering and transmission lock lever (2) Transmission direction control
Move transmission direction control (2) to the NEUTRAL position. Move steering and transmission lock lever (1) to the LOCKED position.
Raise the work tool clear of the ground.
Disengage the parking brake.
With steering and transmission lock lever (1) in the LOCKED position, move transmission direction control (2) to the FORWARD position or the REVERSE position. If the transmission engages either direction refer to "Procedure to Adjust the STIC Lockout Control Limit Switch".
If the transmission does not engage either direction, adjustments are correct. Engage the parking brake, lower the work tool to the ground and stop the engine.Procedure to Adjust the STIC Lockout Control Limit Switch

Remove the cover from the steering and transmission lock assembly.
Adjust nut (2) and nut (3) until the measurement for (B) is reached. Measurement (B) is equal to 20 mm (0.78 inch).
Check the STIC lockout control limit switch. Refer to "Procedure to Check the STIC Lockout Control Limit Switch".
Install the cover to the steering and transmission lock assembly.
