Clean grease from threaded part of the grease fitting's counterbore.
Clean old thread lock compound from the threads with solvent or wire brush.
Remove grease from the threads by using 169-5464 Quick Cure Primer .
Clean threads of the new grease fitting with water.Note: Water neutralizes the fitting's zinc coated surface. This is the recommended contact surface for locking compound.

Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on the threads.

Install the new grease fitting and tighten according to the following specification:
