Use the Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Service Tool or the machine monitors to check for active diagnostic codes. If any diagnostic codes are present, refer to the appropriate diagnostic code troubleshooting procedure to correct this problem before continuing.
Perform "Pump Stroke - Functional Test" to verify pumps stroke up properly
Perform "Bypass Valve (ACS Valve) - Functional Test" to verify bypasses are functioning properly.
Check engine fueling.
Warm engine to 55° C (131° F).
Perform 100% stick out stall test.
Using monitor verify that engine fueling is between 185-215 mm3 during stick out stall in HHP mode.
In the monitor, verify that the engine speed and torque % match the table for each dial speed setting 1-10 in Systems Operation, KENR9614, "Engine Speed Control".
Refer to Testing and Adjusting, KENR9615, "Main Pump (Flow) -Test" to check hydraulic system power at the boom foot.
