Charged accumulator can close delimber blades resulting in sever personal injury or death. DO NOT enter the delimber area without closing delimber blades, shutting engine down, discharging accumulator and blocking out tilting delimber base frame.
First Attempt
Remove tree from delimber.
Open and close delimber knives to dislodge any trapped limbs.Note: If this procedure does not clear the trapped limbs, follow instructions under second attempt.Second Attempt
Remove tree from delimber.
Open delimber knives as far as possible.
Run tree back and forth through the open knives several times to dislodge any trapped limbs.Note: If this procedure does not clear the trapped limbs, follow instructions under third attempt.Third Attempt
Remove tree from delimber.
Close delimber knives.
Turn off host machine.
Discharge accumulator.Note: Delimber knives are extremely sharp and will cause severe personal injury or death.Note: Do not enter delimbing area if knives are still open or partially open. Knives will close once the trapped limbs are removed.
Provide a stable work platform.
Using a rod or similar object, push the trapped limbs and debris from the knife area.
