Information:
1. Drain the oil from the cooling system. 2. Install tooling (A) and attach a hoist.3. Remove eight bolts (1). Remove eight bolts (2), retainers (3) and two tubes (4).4. Disconnect tube (5) from aftercooler housing. Remove eight bolts (6). 5. Remove six bolts (7).6. Using the hoist, remove the aftercooler from the engine. The weight of the aftercooler is 114 kg (250 lb). 7. If it is necessary to replace core assembly (8), remove plate (9) and remove the core assembly. Inspect all O-ring seals for wear or damage. Replace as required. Install the aftercooler in reverse order. Coating the O-ring seals with clean engine oil at installation.
