Remove the half of 149-8434 Duo-Cone Seal Group (3) from the 8V-9372 Plate (1) .
Remove 8V-9372 Plate (1) from the service brake.

Remove the O-ring seal from plate (1) .Assembly
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
Remanufacture plate (1) and wheel (2) that was removed during the disassembly procedure to make new plate (4) and wheel (6). Refer to ""Machining of the Plate"" and ""Machining of the Wheel"".

Install the O-ring seal onto plate (4) .

Typical Example
Install plate (4) onto the service brake.
Install one half of new 219-0615 HDDF Seal Group (5) onto plate (4). Lubricate the seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install the other half of new 219-0615 HDDF Seal Group (5) onto wheel (6). Lubricate the seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Assemble the final drive, brake and wheel group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR5138, "735 Articulated Trucks Power Train", "Spindle, Service Brake and Wheel (Front and Center) - Assemble" or Disassembly and Assembly, RENR5139, "740 and 740 EJECTOR Articulated Trucks Power Train", "Spindle, Service Brake and Wheel (Front and Center) - Assemble".
Install the final drive, brake and wheel group onto the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR5138, "735 Articulated Trucks Power Train", "Spindle, Service Brake and Wheel (Front and Center) - Install" or Disassembly and Assembly, RENR5139, "740 and 740 EJECTOR Articulated Trucks Power Train", "Spindle, Service Brake and Wheel (Front and Center) - Install".Machining of the Parts
