Remove the cooling system package.

Remove tube assemblies (1) and (2) .

Remove filter base (3) and hose assembly (4) .

Disconnect air hose assembly (5) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to fan guard assembly (7) The weight of fan guard assembly (7) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Remove bolts (6) and (8) from both sides. Remove fan guard assembly (7) .

Remove bolts (9) and fan (10) .

Remove nut (11) and the washer.

Use Tooling (A) to remove adapter (12) .

Remove bolts (13) and hydraulic fan motor (14) .
Refer to Special Instructions, REHS4189-00, "Replacement of Blades for Variable Pitch Fan" for the replacement of the fan blades.Installation Procedure
Install the fan group in the reverse order of removal.
Install nut (11) to a torque of 200 30 N m (148 22 lb ft).
