980C LoadersThe diode assembly has been removed from the fuel shut-off solenoid in the above machines. The diode, which was installed between the terminals on the fuel shut-off solenoid, does not work correctly with the Lisk solenoid.
The 3N8085 Diode Assembly can be removed from the 9G111 Solenoid Assembly in all of the above models.
If a fuel shut-off solenoid does not work correctly, first, check to see if it has the name "Lisk" on it. If the solenoid is made by Lisk, remove the 3N8085 Diode Assembly and test the solenoid.
Any time a replacement 9G111 Solenoid Assembly is installed, do not install the diode assembly.
