1 1 6D-9398 Differential Pinion Assemble differential pinion and pinion bearings (5) with the shims (6) and (7) under the bearing retainer (3), so that there will be a measurable end play. Final shim pack to produce end play of 0.05 0.03 mm (0.002 0.001 inch) on pinion, rotate pinion to measure the end play of pinion.
2 1 5P-1086 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip of the lip type seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
4 1 9F-1399 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
6 6 6D-4167 Shim Thickness is 0.13 mm (0.005 inch).
7 8 6D-4168 Shim Thickness is 0.18 mm (0.007 inch).

16 4 1S-9292 Dowel Before you assemble the differential group and bevel gear group, assemble the differential ring gear (15) to the differential group (11) and ream four holes 15.641 0.013 mm (0.6158 0.0005 inch) in diameter. Clean the surface of any lubricant.
