PROBLEM
The oil pan gasket can leak requiring retorque of accessible fasteners on certain C175-16, and C175-20 Generator Sets and Locomotive Engines. The existing oil pan gasket can leak as a result of gasket set and loss of clamp load in the oil pan to engine block joint. Loss of clamp load results in excessive motion causing gasket to tear and allow oil to leak from the joint.
