Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Turbo mounting flange as viewed facing the turbo exhaust outlet
Position the gasket on the exhaust manifold.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the exhaust manifold studs.
Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (5). The weight of turbocharger (5) is approximately 32 kg (71 lb). Position turbocharger (5) on the exhaust manifold.
Install nuts (9) and tighten to a torque of 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft) in the sequence shown in Illustration 2.

Apply Tooling (B) to a new seal (1). Install seal (1).
Connect tube assemblies (2), tube assembly (3), tube assembly (4), and tube assembly (7). Note: Do not reuse seal in tube assemblies (8) and (6). Always use the new seals for the assemblies.
Apply Tooling (B) to the new seal and tube assembly (8). Install the seal and tube assembly (8).
Apply Tooling (B) to the new seal and tube assembly (6). Install the seal and tube assembly (6).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change" for the correct filling procedure.
