The display module is mounted in the instrument panel on the right side of the cab. The display module provides audible signals and the display module provides visual signals in order to alert the operator to the forward stability of the machine.A harness with two connectors is attached to the display module. One of the connectors (4 way) is used to connect to another harness that is routed through the cab to the sensor on the rear axle. The other connector (2 way) connects to the main electrical system of the machine in order to supply power to the longitudinal stability indicator (LSI).The display module measures the load from the sensor by changes in voltage. This is then calculated as a percentage value of the maximum load. Indicators are then illuminated on the panel of the display module according to the percentage value. The display module has eleven indicators. The display module can be calibrated and the display module can be used to perform a self-diagnostic test.Functions

Display Module (Front Panel Indicators and Switch)
Green indicator (1) shows that the longitudinal stability indicator (LSI) is receiving power.
Green indicator (2) is a 50% load indicator.
Green indicator (3) is a 60% load indicator.
Green indicator (4) is a 65% load indicator.
Green indicator (5) is a 70% load indicator.
Green indicator (6) is a 75% load indicator.
Green indicator (7) is a 80% load indicator.
Amber indicators (8) and (9) are 85% load indicators.
Red indicators (10) and (11) are 100% load indicators.
Test switch (12) - The switch is used to initiate a self-diagnostic routine test for the display module. The switch is also used to set a zero point when the display module is calibrated. Also if the audible alarm is too loud during normal operation of the machine then the volume can be reduced by pressing switch (12) .

Location of Push Buttons (Calibration) on Display Module
Push button (13) is labelled as "CAL". This is an on/off switch for the calibration mode.
Push button (14) is labelled as "Span" and push button (15) is labelled as "Span+%". These push buttons are used in the calibration mode to obtain the calibration point for setting the indicators. When the engine start switch is turned to the ON position, all indicators will be illuminated. The indicators will be illuminated for two to three seconds and the audible alarm will sound. This indicates that the display module is performing an internal self-check. If the system is functioning correctly, then all of the indicators except indicator (1) will be extinguished and the audible alarm will cease. Indicator (1) is illuminated at all times.Note: For the first thirty seconds after starting the engine, disregard any signals that indicate an error in the display module. When the load on the machine increases from 50% to 80%, green indicators (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), and (7) illuminate progressively. When one green indicator is illuminated or two green indicators are illuminated, the
