PROBLEM
All 4N-0015 panel air filters produced between 01/01/04 and 05/22/05 need to be removed from dealer parts stock. These filters should be 99.5% efficient. However, they tested to be 90% efficient. This could result in dirt entering the engine. Please verify using date code on filter.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 4N-0015 panel air filters produced between 01/01/04 and 05/22/05 from dealer parts stock. Package date codes (format ddmmyy) included are all date codes with the last two digits of 04 (2004) and all 2005 date codes up to and including 220505 (May 22, 2005).
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all 4N-0015 Air Filters that are removed from parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
All dealers are to make sure the outside of the shipping container is marked PI70105.
