travel pedal function will allow the operator to deliver a desired travel command to the machine. When the ECM is powered ON, the analog travel pedal position sensor is automatically calibrated. When the key is turned to the ON position, the ECM reads the voltage of the sensor. If the voltage is within the allowable range, then that voltage will become the zero position for the duration of the key cycle. If the voltage is outside the allowable range, then the pedal is assumed to be depressed and the pedal is not in the zero position. When this occurs, the last known zero position voltage is used as the zero position. The travel pedal position sensor signal to the ECM is received at contact J1-61 through wire T993-BR. The ground for the sensor is provided at contact J1-12 through wire G939-PK. Voltage is supplied to the sensor when the key switch is turned to the ON position through wire 308-YL.
