Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove nuts (1) from bus bar (2).
Remove bus bar (2) from glow plugs (3).
Remove glow plugs (3) from the cylinder head.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that the threads of the glow plugs are clean and free from damage. Replace any damaged glow plugs.

Install glow plugs (3) into the cylinder head.
For C1.5 and C2.2 engines, tighten the glow plugs to a torque of 23 N m (204 lb in).
Position bus bar (2) onto glow plugs (3).
Install nuts (1) to glow plugs (3). Use Tooling (A) to tighten the nuts to a torque of 1.2 N m (10.6 lb in).
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
