Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove clamp assembly (1) .

Loosen clamps (3) and (4). Disconnect tube assemblies (2) and (5) from the air cleaner assembly.

Disconnect harness assembly (6) and remove the clip.

Attach a suitable lifting device to guard (7). The weight of guard (7) is approximately 37 kg (80 lb). Remove two bolts (8) .
Remove four bolts (9) and guard (7) .

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the air cleaner assembly. The weight of the air cleaner assembly is approximately 160 kg (350 lb).
Remove six bolts (10) and the air cleaner assembly.
