Expansion Tank (Marine Engine)
1. Remove coolant from engine.2. Disconnect water line from temperature regulator housing. 3. Disconnect tube assembly (1) from aftercooler elbow.4. Disconnect tube (2) from expansion tank cover. 5. Remove two bolts (4) from temperature regulator housing.6. Remove four bolts from tank drain elbow.7. Attach a hoist and remove four bolts (3) that hold expansion tank to bracket.8. Remove expansion tank. Weight is 100 lb. (45 kg).Install Expansion Tank (Marine Engine)
1. Fasten a hoist to expansion tank.2. Put tank in position and install four bolts that hold expansion tank to bracket. 3. Install four bolts (2) that hold tank drain elbow (1) to expansion tank.4. Install two bolts in temperature regulator housing.5. Connect tube assembly to aftercooler elbow.6. Connect tube to expansion tank cover.7. Connect water line to temperature regulator housing.8. Fill engine with coolant to correct level.
