Start By:
Remove the tire and rim (Rear).
Remove the final drive.

Remove bolts (1) and retainer plate (2).

Remove shim (3).

Install Tooling (A) into the spindle. Slide hub (4) and ring gear (5) onto Tooling (A). Attach a suitable lifting device to hub (4). The combined weight of hub (4) and ring gear (5) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove hub (4) and ring gear (5) as a unit.

Use Tooling (C) to compress retaining ring (6). Separate ring gear (5) from hub (4). The weight of ring gear (5) is approximately 22 kg (48 lb). The weight of hub (4) is approximately 22 kg (48 lb).

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press to remove bushing (7) from hub (6).

Use Tooling (E) to remove bearing cone (8) from hub (4).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to wheel (9). The weight of wheel assembly (9) is approximately 155 kg (3412 lb). Remove wheel assembly (9).

Remove Duo-cone seal (10) from wheel (9).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to spindle (11). The weight of spindle (11) is approximately 57 kg (126 lb).

Remove bolts (13) and spindle (11).
Remove plate (12).
