PROBLEM
The existing 7K-3176 Coupling, if identified incorrectly, can leak on certain 777F Off-Highway Trucks. The incorrect 7K-3176 Coupling will loosen and result in the air conditioning system not adequately cooling the operator compartment. The 7K-3176 Coupling is part of the 251-8407 Lines Gp - Heater & Air Conditioner.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the back panel from the cab assembly and locate the 7K-3176 Coupling on the right hand side wall mounted to the 252-4600 Plate As. The 252-4600 Plate As. is part of the 251-8407 Lines Gp - Heater & Air Conditioner. If the coupling is identified as "correct" has shown in Image 1 no further action is required. If the coupling is identified as "incorrect" has shown in Image 1 the coupling must be replaced.
If further action is required refer to the Service Manual, SENR5664, "Refrigerant System-Evacuate" and "Refrigerant System-Charge" section in Testing and Adjusting.
