Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Lower the blade to the ground.

Attach a suitable lifting device to stabilizer link (1). The weight of stabilizer link (1) is approximately 120 kg (265 lb).
Remove bolts (2), cap (3), and the shims from each end of stabilizer link (1).
Start the machine.
Turn the machine to the left until stabilizer link (1) is disengaged from the trunnion and the front trunnion.
Stop the machine.
Remove stabilizer link (1). Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to position stabilizer link (1) between the blade and the front trunnions. The weight of stabilizer link (1) is approximately 120 kg (265 lb).
Start the machine.
Carefully turn the machine to the right until stabilizer link (1) is engaged with the trunnion and the front trunnion.
Stop the machine.
Install bolts (2) and cap (3) without the shims.
Tighten bolts (2) evenly on both sides of the cap.
Insert an equal amount of shims in the spaces between the cap and the stabilizer link, as needed.
Add one additional shim to each of the spaces. The specified clearance between the trunnion and the stabilizer link is 0.50 0.25 mm (0.020 0.010 inch).
Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 620 80 N m (460 60 lb ft).
Repeat Steps 5 through 9 in order to install the opposite end of the stabilizer link. End By:
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
