Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (3) to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate speed dial (2) to the MINIMUM position.
Move parking brake switch (1) to the ON position.

Move screed lift switch (4) to the FLOAT position. Lower the screed to the ground.Note: The screed lift switch on the inactive instrument panel must also be in the FLOAT position in order to lower the screed.

Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
Move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position after the engine reaches low idle.

Open right access door (7) on the top of the right side of the machine.

Support right access door (7) with support rod (8) .

Connect Tool (C) to tap (9). Use Tool (B) in order to connect Tool (C) to Tool (A) .Note: The switch for the screed lift must be reset to the HOLD position before the machine will start.
Move engine start switch (6) to the START position. Release the engine start switch after the engine starts.
Move throttle control switch (5) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the operator display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43° 5.6°C (110° 10°F).
Read the pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 6900 170 kPa (1000 25 psi).
Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
Move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position.
If the pressure is not in the specified range, go to Step 18. If the pressure is within the specified range, go to Step 21.

Loosen locknut (11) on the pressure reducing valve. In order to increase pressure, rotate adjustment screw (10) clockwise. In order to decrease pressure, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
Hold adjustment screw (10). Tighten locknut (11) .
Go to Step 11.
Remove tooling. Close access door (7) .
