Position Sensor (Auxiliary Lever) SchematicThis fault is recorded when the ECM determines that the auxiliary lever position sensor signal is out of calibration. The auxiliary lever position sensor is a PWM type of sensor. The auxiliary lever position sensor signal wire G942-OR connects to connector contact J2-6 of the ECM. Service Notes: Ensure that the CID 0487 FMI 13 fault is on hold and that the fault present indicator is ON. An FMI 13 fault is recorded when the ECM reads the lever sensor in the neutral position, and the ECM determines that the value is not valid.Lever position sensors are automatically calibrated and the FMI 13 fault can also occur during the KEY ON calibration procedure. The levers must be in the HOLD position when the key start switch is turned to the ON position.
