ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the failed aftercooler hose and replace with a new 520-4649 Aftercooler Hose. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Remove the failed aftercooler hose along with the four clamps. Refer to Image1.1.1.
Remember the direction and location of the clamps.

2. Install a new 520-4649 Aftercooler Hose with four the clamps that were removed. Tighten the clamps to a specified torque of 11 +/- 1 N.m.
3. Insert the existing pipe 76mm from the each hose edge. Refer to Image1.2.1.
The Belleville washer stacks of the clamp are nearly collapsed flat.
Applying lubricant is acceptable when installing hose.
