368-1277 Oil Drain The new 3E-4299 O-Ring Seal (1) is a part of 368-1277 Oil Drain. The 3E-4299 O-Ring Seal is a direct replacement for the former 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal .The new 3E-4299 O-Ring Seal is used only on the machines PBA1-306 and PER1-239.The original 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal is used on the machines PBA307-UP and PER240-UP.Rework Procedure
Use the following rework procedure to install the new 3E-4299 O-Ring Seal .
Remove the bottom guard.
Drain the engine of lubrication oil.
Remove the sump tap drain valve from the sump tap drain port.
Remove 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal from the sump tap drain valve.
Clean all surfaces around the drain port, ensuring that the surfaces are free from oil.
Install the drain tap with the new 3E-4299 O-Ring Seal .
Install the sump tap drain valve.
Wash, clean, and dry the area. Ensure that no residual fluids remain.
Fill the engine with new lubrication oil.
Check the area and joint for leaks.
Install the bottom guard.
