(2) Barrier Control Panel (BCP)

(4) BCP shutdown reset switch cover (if equipped)

Depress BCP shutdown switch (5) at BCP (2). AIS warning light (3) will stop flashing.
Move BCP isolation switch (6) counterclockwise to the OFF position. Place a personal lockout and "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag on BCP isolation switch (6).Note: Personnel entering the operations area must place a personal lockout and "Do Not Operate" warning tag or similar warning tag on BCP isolation switch (6).If your BCP, is fitted with BCP shutdown reset switch cover (4), an extra lockout, and "Do Not Operate" warning tag may be installed. Installing an extra lockout maybe be required by on-site policy or procedures.
Remove all automation warning signs.
Open the personnel barrier gate (if equipped).
Disconnect the lanyard and hang on the wall for storage before switching the machine to manual.
Turn off the power supply isolation switch.
Notify Site Control that the operations area is being deactivated.Machine Automation System (MAS) Deactivation
If the red autonomous control warning light on the machine is flashing the machine may start and move without warning and may result in personal injury or death. Stay clear of the machine and exit the machine operations area immediately.
Approach the machine with caution. Only the amber MAS warning light will be flashing.

(8) Autonomous control enable switch
Turn autonomous control enable switch (8) counterclockwise to the MANUAL position. The amber MAS warning light will stop flashing.

(9) Autonomous control switch
Access the machine operator station and move the autonomous control switch (9) to the OFF position. The machine is now in manual mode.
All LADAR protective covers must be fitted to the machine.
Perform a machine pre-start check before operating the machine in MANUAL mode.Reference: For more information refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Service Inspection" for the machine being serviced.
Move the machine to the designated parking area.
Notify and confirm the deactivation status of the machine, MAS, and AIS with Site Control.
Remove danger tags and replace with an out-of-service tag (if applicable).Operator Station - Shutdown
