Position rear case (4) on front case (17). Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (16). Install bolts (16) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 120 2 N m (88 2 lb ft).

Install shaft bushing (15) in shaft (11) .

Install O-ring seal (13) .
Measure Dimension (X) for the brake discs and plates (12). Use Tooling (C) and Tooling (D) in order to obtain Dimension (X) of 28.2 0.10 mm (1.11 0.004 inch).

Install shims (14), as required. See Step 18.

Install the brake discs and plates (12) on shaft (11) .

Install seal (10) in brake housing (3) .

Position brake housing (3) on rear case (4) .
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (9). Install bolts (9) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 73 3 N m (54 2 lb ft).

Install Tooling (A) into threaded hole (7) and position brake piston (6) in brake housing (3) .

Position the gasket and end cover (2) on brake housing (3). Install bolts (1) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 15 1 N m (11 1 lb ft).End By: Install the wheel propel motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Wheel Propel) - Install".
