Performance Tests
Oil pressures that are too low will cause a decrease in a machine's performance. Oil pressures that are too high will cause a decrease in the life of hoses and components. Oil pressures that are too high can also cause performance problems.
The piston pump ( hydrostatic) makes noise. There are air bubbles in the oil.
The crossover relief valve opens at low oil pressure.
The output of the piston pump is low.
There is no pressure from the piston pump.
The machine moves with the direction control in the NEUTRAL position.
The machine will not start to move until the engine speed is very high.
The machine has low performance. The machine has weak force.
The machine's maximum speed is not set to the correct specification when the speed selector switch is in the FAST mode.

The hydraulic oil level could be low. Check the hydraulic oil level.

The oil level could be low. Check the hydraulic oil level.
The viscosity of the hydraulic oil could be incorrect. Take an oil sample.
The service brake control could be incorrectly adjusted. Adjust the service brake control. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Service Brake - Test and Adjust".
The speed sensing valve could be set incorrectly. Set the speed sensing valve to the correct specification. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The POR valve could be set incorrectly. Set the POR valve to the correct specification. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The piston pump may have too much wear. Replace the piston pump.
The crossover relief valves could be set incorrectly. Set the crossover relief valves to the correct specification. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The pump may have an internal leak. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".Problem 4There is no pressure from the piston pump.Probable Cause
The oil level in the hydraulic tank could be low. Check the hydraulic oil level.
The charge relief valve could be damaged. Check the charge pressure. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The charge pump may have failed. Check the charge pressure. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The speed sensing valve may have failed. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and Adjust".
The solenoid for the direction control may have failed. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Hydrostatic System - Test and
