16. Install stop angle bar (14) from tooling (D) on the swashplate as shown. The stop angle bar must be installed with the deepest point of the two angles toward bolt (10) (minimum stop). The bar must be at a 90° angle to a line through the center of the bearings. 17. Put gauging bar (16) from tooling (D) on the body with the end of the gauging bar on dowel (17) and against dowel (15). The gauging bar must be parallel with a line through the center of the bearings.18. Install depth gauge (D) in one of the holes in the gauging bar that is directly over the deepest angle on the stop angle bar. 19. Move the swashplate until it makes contact with bolt (11) (maximum stop).20. Measure the distance from the top of bar (16) to the angle on bar (14). Move the depth gauge to the other hole directly over the same angle on bar (14). Measure the distance from the top of bar (16) to the angle on bar (14).21. Make an adjustment to bolt (11) until the measured distance from the top of bar (16) to the angle on bar (14) is the same at the two holes in bar (16). When the measured distance at each of the holes in bar (16) is the same, the deepest angle on bar (14) is parallel to bar (16) and bolt (11) is at its correct adjustment. If the adjustment can not be made, the bolt (stop) or the bar is installed in wrong position.22. Measure the distance between bolt (11) and the body with a feeler gauge. Install shims and washers that are the same thickness as the distance measured. Install the O-ring on the bolt. Put oil on the seal. Install the bolt, shims, and washers. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 80 10 lb.ft. (11.1 1.4 mkg). Check the distance from the top of bar (16) to the angle on bar (14) again. Make an adjustment to the shims for bolt (11) if the distance is not the same at the two holes in bar (16).23. Move the swashplate until it makes contact with bolt (10) (minimum stop). Install the depth gauge in one of the holes directly over the smallest angle on bar (14). Follow the procedures in Steps 20 through 22 and make an adjustment to bolt (10) until the smallest angle on bar (14) is parallel to bar (16). Bolt (10) is at its correct adjustment when the measured distance from the top of bar (16) to the smallest angle on bar (14) is the same at the two holes in bar (16).24. Remove the covers and shims from each side of the body. Keep the shims with their respective cover. Remove the swashplate from the body. 25. Install links (19) and (20) in the swashplate.
